Virtual currency trading exchange CrossTower Inc. is pursuing a potential deal to acquire the assets of the once-leading Voyager Digital Ltd. out of bankruptcy.
Bankruptcy Judge Wiles granted Voyager permission to enter into an asset purchase agreement with FTX, which is subject to various closing conditions including confirmation of a Voyager chapter 11 plan, but said Voyager is still allowed to engage any rival bidder with a superior offer.
A Seward & Kissel team, led by partner John Ashmead, is representing CrossTower in this potential “superior offer” acquisition.
